In Pittsburgh, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Pennsylvania on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12β9 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (412) 782-9922. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, pizza-lupo.com.
Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 677 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pittsburgh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Pizza Lupo has been on my radar for quite some time. Driving and finding parking in Lawrenceville on a Saturday is pretty rough. Also Pizza Lupo is takeout only. We ordered a large pepperoni online 30 minutes before our arrival with the plan to pick up the pizza fresh out of the oven and go to Lolev brewery 2 blocks away. Absolutely in my top 5! The pizza was cooked to perfection with a flavorful light, airy crispy crust and great undercarriage. The sauce was great with a tiny bit of heat on the back end. The pepperoni was cup and crisp with a little bit of spice. The cheese was on point and topped with some fresh basil leaves. This pizza ranks up there with F&F and Common Oven. I'm usually not a fan of New York style pizza because the toppings can be a bit sparse including the sauce. That wasn't the case with Lupo, the ratios were right on. I would drive an hour to eat this pizza. Looking forward to trying the Grandma style next time.

Walked in to order take-out. Seemed a little busy, but our pizza came out in about 12 minutes. Great pizza. Crispy bottom, chewy top, sauce was mild with good tomato taste. Pepperoni was crispy and the hot sausage I'd bet was homemade. Very good all around. No dine in here.

In my opinion the best pizza in Pittsburgh. Been to many pizzerias in the NYC/Brooklyn area and this matches right up. Crispy, no flop jalop, flavorful, and fresh. Take out only. If you have the ability to taste, give this a try.

Finally had a chance to go here. We wanted to get only one pizza so we opted for the Drunken Meatball. I cannot say it is the best pizza I have had because different styles are all amazing. This is a unique style and I love it. The sauce was amazing, the ricotta cheese was so delicious and their meatballs were tremendous. What I loved was the crust - it had some chew and some tug; there was a little bit of char on the outside and the bottom. The meatballs were delicious and that sauce! The vodka sauce was perfect. I would have thought I would have missed the standard cheese on a pizza but the ricotta was super good. I placed my order on their website and it was easy; I was able to pay using my Apple Pay, which was a plus. We arrived and it was ready but we stood talking to the men in the shop and they were so kind. They asked us questions about us when they learned we had, recently, moved here. You will not find a more personable greeting anywhere.

Iβm in my early 40s, Iβve tried many different pizza places. This is one of the goats! Do yourself a favor and get a Large (a must if you want the best version of any legit pizza place). This is the Vodka Pie. Thank you to the sweet staff who prepared it. I loved the sweet lady working the counter (made me think of la mia famiglia)
